Kapeng Barako is a bold, aromatic Liberica coffee grown in Batangas, Philippines — prized for its strong character and deep ties to Filipino tradition and pride. That spirit is exactly what Sherwood and Camila wanted to carry into every corner of this bistro.

Sherwood Supa was born in the Philippines and raised in Canada; Camila Abalos moved here as a teenager — both are NAIT Culinary Arts graduates with over a decade in Edmonton kitchens. They built Barako Bistro to share the flavors that shaped them.
